Classic Water Custard Recipe

Ingredients:

Wheat Starch | 1 Cup |
Water | 5 Cup |
Granulated Sugar | 1 Cup |
Rose Water | 1 Half Cup |
Powdered Sugar | 1 Tsp (large) |
Steps:
-
Put cold water, sugar and starch in a saucepan and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly, over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of rose water while cooking.
-
Cool the puddings you bought in soaked glass bowls for a minimum of two hours in the fridge. (You can get better results if you leave it overnight)
-
Take the cooled bowls upside down on the plate. Pour a lot of rose water on them and leave them in the fridge for another hour.
-
When you serve, sprinkle powdered sugar with the help of a tea strainer. Good luck!
-
Note: If you want a flavored water pudding, you can add a glass of freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice. In this case, you should use four glasses of water.
