Classic Water Custard

Ingredients:

For: 6 People
Prep: 5 Min
Cook: 10 Min
Wheat Starch 1   Cup
Water 5   Cup
Granulated Sugar 1   Cup
Rose Water 1   Half Cup
Powdered Sugar 1   Tsp (large)

Steps:

  1. Put cold water, sugar and starch in a saucepan and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly, over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of rose water while cooking.
  2. Cool the puddings you bought in soaked glass bowls for a minimum of two hours in the fridge. (You can get better results if you leave it overnight)
  3. Take the cooled bowls upside down on the plate. Pour a lot of rose water on them and leave them in the fridge for another hour.
  4. When you serve, sprinkle powdered sugar with the help of a tea strainer. Good luck!
  5. Note: If you want a flavored water pudding, you can add a glass of freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice. In this case, you should use four glasses of water.
