Fried Potatoes

Boiled potatoes, with a little minced meat, can be turned into a life-saving main dish in a very short time. Enjoy your meal!

Potatoes (Boiled) 2   Qty
Ground Beef 100   Grams
Dry Onion (Medium size) 1   Qty
Tomato Paste 1   Tsp (large)
Hot Pepper Sauce 1   Tsp (large)
Salt 1   Tsp
Black Pepper 1   Tsp
Cumin 1   Tsp
Liquid Oil 2   Tbsp
Butter (Optional) 1   Tbsp

Steps:

  1. Chop the boiled potatoes into cubes. Peel the onion and chop it finely and into cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and sauté the onions. When the onions turn colour, add the minced meat and fry until tender.
  3. While the minced meat is roasting, add the tomato paste and turn it together a few turns.
  4. Add 1 tea glass of hot water and turn the stove to low heat. Add the chopped boiled potatoes, salt and spices to the mixture that has been cooked for 2-3 minutes and mix. When the water is absorbed, turn it upside down and close the lid.
  5. Place the roasted potatoes, which you have rested for 5-10 minutes, on a serving plate, decorate with parsley leaves, tomatoes and peppers, if available, and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
  6. Note: A tzatziki or yoghurt with plenty of cucumber goes well with this dish, it balances the hot and spices!
