Steps:

  1. Peel the potatoes: Clean and peel the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Chop the potatoes: Slice the potatoes lengthwise into finger-shaped pieces.
  3. Let the potatoes sit: Put the potatoes in a deep bowl to remove the starch, add enough cold water to cover them and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and flour: Remove the potatoes from the water and dry them with paper towels. Sprinkle flour and salt on them and mix well.
  5. Fry the potatoes: Heat the oil on high heat and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy.
  6. Drain and serve: Drain excess oil from the fried potatoes on paper towels and serve.
