Grilled Sea Bream

Known for its taste, sea bream is a very healthy eating choice with its white meat. It is rumored that the fish, whose hunting tradition dates back to the Romans, was dedicated to Aphrodite, the goddess of love at that time. This fish, which has been on the tables of the Anatolian people for centuries, gives vitality to the body with its high nutritional values and strengthens the immune system. The healthiest way of consumption is to grill. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients:

For 2 people
🕐 Preparation: 5 min.      🕐 Cooking: 10 min.
Sea Bream (300-400 Grams) 2 Qty
Dry Onion (Small) 1 Qty
Garlic (crushed) 3 Clove
Olive Oil 1 Tbsp
Bay Leaf (Dry) 3 Qty
Salt 1 Tsp
Black Pepper 1 Tsp
Lemon Juice 2 Tsp (large)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the fish thoroughly so that no black remains on the insides. Make 2-3 scratches on the diagonal on the sides of the fish that have been drained and dried with a paper towel.
  2. Peel and crush the garlic for marination. Grate the onion, mix with salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil. Put the fish in the sauce and rub it with your hands. Cover and rest in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour.
  3. Heat the cast iron skillet well, oil it with a brush and place the fish skin down. Cook on both sides for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve your cooked fish hot, without waiting, with onion fries and arugula salad. Enjoy your meal!
