Homemade Oat Milk Recipe

Homemade Oat Milk

Oat milk, a vegan diet's favorite, is a great substitute product that you can use instead of milk. Oats, which contain high fiber, provide many benefits such as lowering blood pressure, improving stomach and digestive problems, protecting cardiovascular health, eliminating insomnia, making weight loss easier and increasing physical performance. Moreover, oat milk is more delicious and creamy than other plant milks. Enjoy!

In a Nutshell:

Ingredients:

For: 6 People
Prep: 10 Min
Rolled Oats (Raw) 1.5   Cup
Water (Cold) 1   Liters
Vanilla (Vanilla Extract) 1/2   Package
Salt 1   Pinch
Ice 10   Piece

Steps:

  1. Rinse the oats with water and place them in a deep mixing bowl. Add ice water on top.
  2. Add vanilla powder, vanilla extract if you have it, and a small pinch of salt.
  3. Leave it in the refrigerator for about half an hour. Take it out and put it in the blender. Place a clean and sterile cheesecloth over the mouth of a wide-mouthed jar.
  4. Without mixing the mixture too much, put it in cheesecloth, gently squeeze it and extract the extract. You can store your oat milk in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Enjoy your meal!
  5. Note: You can use oat milk, which is recommended to be consumed cold, as its consistency will change when heated, in your coffees, smoothies and ice creams.

Beyond medical uses, it adds a refreshing touch to drinks, pairing excellently with mint, lemon, and various fruits.
