Hunter Pastry With Crepes Recipe

Hunter Pastry With Crepes

You want to make hunter pastry, but if you don't have any dough on hand, you can try this recipe with simple ingredients. Our filling ingredients are as in the hunter pastry recipe we shared before. Pancakes should be rolled as thinly as possible than normal breakfast pancakes. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients:

For 4 people
🕐 Preparation: 30 min.      🕐 Cooking: 30 min.
For the Crepe:
Egg 2 Qty
Flour 1 Cup
Water (Warm) 1 Cup
Milk 1 Cup
Salt 1 Half Tbsp
Liquid Oil 2 Tbsp
For the Stuffing Stuff:
Minced Meat (Medium Fat Double Ground) 200 Grams
Dry Onion (Small Size) 1 Qty
Walnut 1 Handful
Fine Bulgur 1/4 Cup
Salt 1 Qty
Black Pepper 1 Qty
Cumin 1 Qty
Parsley (Finely Chopped) 1/4 Bunch
For the Breaded:
Egg 2 Qty
Crumbs Bread 1 Cup
Liquid Oil 1.5 Cup

Instructions:

  1. For the pancakes, first break the eggs and beat well. Then add other liquid ingredients and salt and mix.
  2. Add the flour in a controlled manner while continuing to mix. The mixture should have the consistency of a fluid boza. Heat a shallow pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the heated pan with oil. Pour 1 scoop of crepe mixture. Tilt the pan to ensure that the mixture is distributed evenly.
  3. For the stuffing, chop the onion finely. Pour 1 spoon of oil into the pan and fry the onions until they turn pink. Add the minced meat and fry until the minced meat changes color and absorbs its water. Add spices and salt.
  4. Soak the fine bulgur by pouring enough hot water over it to make it swell. Cover it and let it rest.
  5. Add bulgur to the roasted minced meat and stir together 1-2 turns. Finally, add the finely chopped walnuts and finely chopped parsley, stir and remove from the heat.
  6. Put 2 spoons of mixture on the bottom of the crepe. Fold in the edges and roll as if wrapping a spring roll. Secure the crepe wraps you have prepared with toothpicks to prevent them from opening. Fry in deep oil over medium heat until it turns pink and remove it on a paper towel.
  7. For a lighter meal, place the hunter pastries you prepared on the baking tray, spaced apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, on top setting, until it turns pink. You can serve your pastries hot or warm, decorate them with chopped parsley leaves and serve them as a hot appetizer or main course. Enjoy your meal!
  8. Note: You can try these pastries with garlic yoghurt and tomato sauce. Don't forget to remove the toothpicks before serving!
