Peel the potatoes and chop them cubes. Peel the dry onion and chop the food. At this stage, you can add 1 clove of garlic.
In a deep saucepan, heat the oil and butter. Sauté the onions until they are pink. Add the potatoes and fry together for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
