Milk Potato Soup

Milk Potato Soup (Kartoffelsuppe) is a traditional soup of German and Austrian cuisine with potatoes. Ingredients:

For 4 people

For the meal:
Potatoes (Medium size) 2 Qty
Dry Onion 1 Qty
Milk 2 Cup
Chicken Broth 2 Cup
Butter 1 Tbsp
Liquid Oil 2 Tbsp
For the Firm:
Egg Yolk 1 Qty
Milk 1 Half Cup
Flour 1 Rounded Tbsp
Nutmeg Grated (1 ç. Spoon Powder) 1/4 Qty
Salt 1 Tsp
Black Pepper 1 Qty
For the Over:
Butter 1 Tbsp
Powdered Red Pepper (Or Dry Mint) 1 Tsp (large)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the potatoes and chop them cubes. Peel the dry onion and chop the food. At this stage, you can add 1 clove of garlic.
  2. In a deep saucepan, heat the oil and butter. Sauté the onions until they are pink. Add the potatoes and fry together for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Add milk and chicken broth to the roasted potatoes. Size the fire. Cook in controlled until the potatoes are thoroughly soft. If necessary, you can add hot water.
  4. When the potatoes are softened, pass the soup through the blender. Beat the egg yolk, flour and milk for finishing. Take 1/2 bucket from the boiling soup and get the manners.
  5. Add the warm manner to the soup by continuing to mix. If any, add the grated or dust of the amulet walnut. Control the flavor by adding salt and pepper.
