Although it is carbohydrate; Thanks to its fibrous structure, barley noodle has a full -holding feature and has an effect that facilitates digestion and regulates blood sugar. At the same time, barley noodle contains different vitamins and minerals. Although it is used in Turkish cuisine in soups, rice and salads as a condiment, we tried a fast and easy, satisfying, delicious rice recipe because it is cooked in a very short time. Heat the oil in a shallow rice pot. Put half of the noodles in the pot and fry until they turn pink.
Peel and grate the tomatoes. You can also use ready-made tomato puree. Add the remaining white noodles to the pot and stir together 1-2 turns.
If you are going to use tomato paste instead of tomato puree, fry the tomato paste before the noodles until it smells good.
Add enough hot water to the pot to cover the noodles by 2 fingers. (About 2.5 cups) Add salt, sugar and black pepper and close the lid. Cook in a controlled manner over low heat until the water evaporates.
Cover the cooked rice with a paper towel, let it brew for 10 minutes and serve hot or warm. You can serve this rice with all grilled meat and chicken, or as an accompaniment to stews. Enjoy your meal!
