Bulgur Rice With Lentils

Ingredients:

For 4 people

Bulgur (Large Grain Rice) 2 Cup Satın al
Dry Onion (Big Size) 3 Qty
Green Lentils 2 Cup
Tomato Paste 1 Tbsp
Pepper Paste (Pain) 1 Tbsp
Garlic 2 Clove
Liquid Oil 4 Tbsp
Butter 2 Tbsp
Green Pointed Pepper ((optional)) 2 Qty
Tomato ((optional)) 2 Qty
Meat Broth (Or Chicken Broth) 3.5 Cup
Fine Salt 2 Tsp (large)
Chili Pepper 1 Tsp (large)
Dried Mint 1 Tsp (large)
Black Pepper 1 Tsp

Instructions:

  1. Wash the green lentils in a few waters, leave them in hot salted water for half an hour and drain. On the other hand, chop the onions and garlic into large edible cubes.
  2. Add oil to a deep and wide pan and fry the onions and garlic until they turn slightly pink. Add the tomato paste and fry it on medium heat until the smell is gone. Add the lentils and turn them upside down a few turns. Add enough hot water or broth to cover it by two or three fingers. Close the lid and let it cook on low heat for about 15 minutes until the lentils are soft. You can add salt and spices at this stage.
  3. Add bulgur and hot water to the cooked lentils (to make up one and a half water), put it on the lowest heat, check it from time to time and take it out of the fire when the water is gone, turn it upside down once and cover it with a paper towel. infuse for fifteen minutes.
  4. You can serve your brewed rice as a hot main course or as a side dish alongside your meat or chicken grills. Enjoy your meal !
