Cretan Paste Recipe
One of the most known and enjoyable appetizers of the Aegean region is Cretan paste. It is so easy to make and so delicious. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients:
For 6 people

Ezine Cheese | 120 | Grams | ||
Curd | 100 | Grams | ||
Tulum Cheese | 150 | Grams | ||
Fresh Basil | 1 | Bunch | ||
Pistachios (Rice) | 3 | Tbsp | ||
Olive Oil | 3 | Tbsp | ||
Black Pepper | 1 | Tsp |
Instructions:

Grate the feta and tulum cheese with the fine side of the grater and put them in a mixing bowl.

Finely chop the fresh basil leaves.

Blend the cheeses, finely chopped basil leaves and finely chopped pistachios.

Add the curd cheese and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the grated cheeses and mash well with a fork until they become soft.

Take the Crete paste you have prepared on a serving plate, spread it on the plate with a fork, garnish with basil leaves and pistachios and serve. Enjoy your meal!

Note: If you wish, you can also serve your paste by rolling it into walnut-sized balls.
