Crete Paste Recipe

One of the most well -known appetizers in the Aegean region is Cretan Pmequen. It is very easy to make and delicious. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients:


Ezine Cheese | 120 Grams |
Curd | 100 Grams |
Tulum Cheese | 150 Grams |
Fresh Basil | 1 Bunch |
Pistachios (Rice) | 3 Tbsp |
Olive Oil | 3 Tbsp |
Black Pepper | 1 Tsp |
Steps:

Grate the feta and tulum cheese with the fine side of the grater and put them in a mixing bowl.

Finely chop the fresh basil leaves.

Blend the cheeses, finely chopped basil leaves and finely chopped pistachios.

Add the curd cheese and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the grated cheeses and mash well with a fork until they become soft.

Take the Crete paste you have prepared on a serving plate, spread it on the plate with a fork, garnish with basil leaves and pistachios and serve. Enjoy your meal!

Note: If you wish, you can also serve your paste by rolling it into walnut-sized balls.
