Dried Tzatziki

Dried tzatziki is a thicker and less watery version of the classic tzatziki. This delicious appetizer, prepared with basic ingredients such as yoghurt, cucumber, garlic and mint, is one of the indispensables of Turkish cuisine. It can be preferred with or without spicy. With its fresh and refreshing taste, it is very popular, especially in the summer months. It is very practical to prepare and will easily add elegance to your tables.

Ingredients:

For 4 people

Cucumber 3 Qty
Strained Yogurt 4 Tbsp
Garlic 2 Clove
Olive Oil 3 Tbsp
Fresh Mint 1 Pinch
Dried Mint 1 Tsp (large)
Salt 1 Tsp

Instructions:

  1. Chop the cucumbers: Cut the cucumbers into small cubes and place them in a deep bowl.
  2. Add the garlic: Add the grated garlic over the chopped cucumbers.
  3. Add the yoghurt and mint: Add the strained yoghurt to the bowl. Add chopped fresh mint leaves and dried mint.
  4. Add the olive oil: Finally, add the olive oil and mix all the ingredients well.
  5. Serve: Place the tzatziki on a serving plate and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy your meal!
