Meatless Cabbage Dish

Cabbage is a vegetable that is most easily accessible during the winter months and is very rich in fiber and vitamins. You can consume it cold or hot when cooked without meat, along with plenty of vegetables. It will also help you in your diet with its edema-increasing feature. Enjoy your meal!

White Cabbage (Small-sized) 1/2   Qty
Dry Onion (Medium size) 3   Qty
Garlic 2   Clove
Carrot (Medium size) 3   Qty
Red Capia Pepper (Optional) 2   Qty
Green Pointed Pepper (Pain On Demand) 2   Qty
Broken Rice 2   1/3 Cup
Liquid Oil 1   1/3 Cup
Butter 2   Tbsp
Chili Pepper 1/2   Tsp
Cumin 1/2   Tsp
Salt 1   Half Tbsp
Black Pepper 1   Tsp

Steps:

  1. Separate the cabbage leaves, rinse them with plenty of water, drain and chop finely.
  2. Peel the onions and chop them into cubes. Peel the garlic and chop it finely. Peel the carrots and rub them through the large grater.
  3. Wash the peppers, cut them in half, clean the seeds and chop them thinly.
  4. First, heat the oil in a deep pot. (If you are going to consume it cold, use only olive oil / oil) Fry the chopped onions until they become transparent and add the grated carrots.
  5. When the carrots are lightly roasted and take color, add the peppers and cabbage. Saute all the vegetables together for 1-2 minutes. Add the spices and salt and pour enough hot water to cover it by 2 fingers.
  6. Finally, add 1 cup of washed broken rice to your meal. Close the lid, place on low heat and cook until all the vegetables are soft.
  7. You can serve your cooked meal hot or warm after letting it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  8. If you are going to serve it with cold olive oil, you can keep it in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours, sprinkle finely chopped parsley on it and serve it with lemon. Enjoy your meal!
