Minced Cauliflower

Ingredients:

For 4 people
🕐 Preparation: 15 min.      🕐 Cooking: 20 min.
For the Food:
Cauliflower (Small-sized) 1 Qty
Ground Beef (Medium Fat) 250 Grams
Dry Onion (Medium size) 1 Qty
Butter (Or Oil) 125 Grams
Tomato Paste 1 Rounded Tbsp
Hot Pepper Sauce 1 Rounded Tbsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Grain Black Pepper (Ground) 1 Tsp
Cumin 1 Tsp
For the Sauce:
Garlic Yogurt Sauce 200 Grams
Butter 1 Tbsp
Chili Pepper 1 Tsp (large)

Instructions:

  1. Clean the cauliflower from the root, cut into small florets and wash. Peel the onion and chop it into cubes.
  2. Take butter and oil in a deep pan and fry the onions on medium heat until they turn pink. Add the tomato paste and fry together for a couple of turns. Add the minced meat and fry it so that there are no lumps.
  3. Add the cauliflower to the roasted mortar and fry for 1-2 minutes with the mortar. Add salt, pepper and cumin at this stage. Finally, add enough boiling water to cover the food by two fingers, put it on low heat, close the lid. (If you don't like the smell of cauliflower, you can add a couple of dried bay leaves)
  4. When the cauliflower softens slightly, remove it from the fire before it disperses too much. Take the bay leaves from the dish and let them rest for 5-6 minutes without opening the lid.
  5. For the topping, heat the butter in a sauce pan, add paprika and remove when it foams. At the presentation stage, first drizzle garlic yoghurt over your meal and garnish with red butter sauce and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
