Potato Menemen Recipe
Menemen; It is a Turkish dish made using eggs, peppers, tomatoes and optionally onions. It is said that it was first built by the Cretan Turks who settled in the Menemen district of Izmir and took its name from the district. The potato version of the classic menemen can be preferred both for breakfast and as a hearty main course. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients:

Green Pepper | 4 | Qty | ||
Dry Onion | 2 | Qty | ||
Liquid Oil | 1 | Qty | ||
Butter | 2 | Tbsp | ||
Black Pepper | 2 | Pinch | ||
Salt | 2 | Pinch |
Instructions:

Wash and peel the potatoes and grate them on the coarse side of the grater. Rinse and drain excess starch.

Heat the oil and butter in the pan, take the drained potatoes into the pan and fry them by turning them upside down.

If available, you can use the menemen mortar you prepared before.

Finely chop the onion and pepper, put them in the pan and sauté. Add the tomatoes and fry lightly.

Fry the Eze Eze together for five minutes, add half a glass of water and rattling on low heat.

Beat the eggs well in a separate bowl and add them to the menemen paste with payates. Cook until all the ingredients are homogeneous. Remove from heat before the eggs become too hard.

Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
