Sweet Sour Crispy Chicken

Ingredients:

For 4 people

For the Chicken:
Chicken Breast 4 Qty
Corn Starch 1 Qty
Flour 1 Qty
Egg 3 Qty
Sunflower Oil (For Frying) 1 Cup
For the Garniture:
Red Onion 2 Qty
Potatoes 2 Qty
Garlic 1 Head
Beet 1 Qty
Rock Salt 1 Tsp (large)
Bitter Sauce 3 Tsp (large)
Honey 2 Tbsp
Brown Sugar 1 Qty
Chili Pepper 1 Pinch
For the Sauce:
Ketchup 3 Tbsp
Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp
Garlic (Crushed) 3 Clove
For the Service:
Parsley 1 Pinch
Sesame 1 Tsp

Instructions:

  1. For a baked vegetable side dish, cut the potatoes, onions and beets into large apple slices. Cut off the head of garlic.
  2. Drizzle salt and olive oil over the vegetables you bought in a baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes in an oven pre-set to 200 degrees. Turn it upside down from time to time so that all parts are evenly cooked.
  3. Chop the chicken breasts into large cubes. Add cornstarch, flour, salt and pepper to a mixing bowl and mix. Crack and whisk the eggs separately.
  4. Take the sunflower oil in a pan and heat it. Dip the chicken pieces first in the spiced flour mixture, then in the egg, then in breadcrumbs or panko and fry until golden brown.
  5. Remove the fried chicken on a paper towel and remove excess oil.
  6. For the sauce, mix ketchup, hot sauce, honey, brown sugar, paprika, soy sauce, crushed garlic, corn starch in a mixing bowl and add water and whisk.
  7. Mix your fried chicken into your sauce. Or take the sauce into a dip bowl.
  8. Take the fried chicken on a serving platter. Garnish with finely chopped parsley and sesame seeds. Place baked vegetable garnishes next to it. Serve hot without waiting with the dip sauce. Enjoy your meal!
