In Turkish Islamic culture, you can easily make these plenty of sesame bagels that are distributed for charity in your home. This crispy flavor will bring diversity to your breakfast tables. Enjoy your meal!
Take the butter out of the fridge and bring it to room temperature. In a deep mixing bowl, first take the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, mahaleb) and mix them and make a small space in the middle.
Add oil, room temperature butter and yoghurt to the middle of the pool you have opened and knead a soft dough that will not stick to the hand, stretch it and let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Take walnut-sized pieces from the rested dough and make a roll and form a bagel by joining the ends.
Whisk the egg white well and mix. Roast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil for five minutes, turn them pink and put them in a bowl.
Line a flat baking tray with baking paper. Dip the prepared bagels first in egg white, then in roasted sesame seeds, put them on the tray and bake for about 20-30 minutes until they turn pink.
If you wish, you can also make simple oil lamp bagels by applying egg yolk to some of the bagels.
Take the oil lamps from the oven on the paper towel and let it rest for 15 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
