French fries, croquettes, chips are loved by everyone. However, it is possible to make healthier and more delicious snacks with less fat and potatoes. You can also try spicy potatoes in the oven, which you can choose as a side dish alongside fish, chicken or meat dishes, with various different spices to suit your taste. Bon Appetit!
Peel the potatoes, cut them into half rings, 0.5 cm thick and throw them into the salted water. If you are going to use fresh tiny baby potatoes, you can wash the skins thoroughly without peeling them and cut them into apple slices.
In a deep bowl, mix olive oil, salt, brown sugar, crushed garlic, dry spices and half the leaves of finely chopped fresh herbs.
Wash the potatoes out of the water and dry them with a paper towel. Then blend it with the oily spice mix.
Lay baking paper on the baking tray and place the potatoes on the tray so that they do not overlap. Finally, remove the rest of the fresh thyme and rosemary leaves and sprinkle on top.
Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 180 degree fan oven and turn it upside down. Bake for another 15 minutes and serve hot. Bon Appetit!
Note: If you are going to consume it as a snack, you can serve it with your favorite dip.
