Ingredients:
For 8 people
🕐 Preparation: 20 min.
🕐 Cooking: 6 min.
Flour | 1 | Cup | ||
Cornflour (Fame) | 1 | Cup | ||
Olive Oil | 2 | Tbsp | ||
Salt | 1 | Tsp | ||
Baking Powder | 1 | Package | ||
Water (Warm) | 1 | Cup |
Instructions:
-
Transfer the dry ingredients through a wire sieve into a deep mixing bowl and mix well.
-
Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the olive oil and water. Take the flour from the edge to the middle and form it into a dough as soft as an earlobe.
-
Knead for five minutes on a lightly floured counter and make it well. Divide the dough into walnut-sized balls and roll them out.
-
Cover and rest for 15-20 minutes. Roll it out to the thickness of a knife blade and the size of a tea plate with a rolling pin.
-
Cook the small phyllo dough you have prepared in a pan without oil, without drying them too much, and remove them on a clean kitchen cloth. You can store the tortillas by wrapping them in this cloth so that they do not dry out. Enjoy your meal!
