Apple Celery Salad

Raw nutrition is being given more place in healthy nutrition recipes day by day. Consuming celery raw, which is generally used as a stew or olive oil derivatives in Turkish cuisine, is of course much healthier because the vitamins and minerals it contains are preserved. You can consume this delicious recipe, which combines celery with apples, walnuts and yogurt, as an appetizer or salad, or you can prepare healthy snacks by using it on canapes. Enjoy your meal!

Lemon Juice 1   Tbsp
Apple (Medium size) 2   Qty
Walnut 1   Cup
Strained Yogurt 1   Half Cup
Yogurt 1   Half Cup
Mayonnaise 2   Tbsp
Garlic 1   Clove
Olive Oil 1/2   Half Cup
Sumac 1   Half Tbsp
Grain Black Pepper (Freshly Ground) 1   Tsp
Chili Pepper 1   Half Tbsp
Salt 1   Half Tbsp

Steps:

  1. Peel the celery and chop coarsely. Take 1 tablespoon of salt and 1/2 lemon into squeezed water and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Peel and finely chop or crush the garlic. Turn the walnuts in a pan without oil for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Separate 4-5 halves of walnuts from the roasted walnuts and grind the rest coarsely in the kitchen rondo. Add the celery, garlic, strained yogurt and mayonnaise. Peel and chop the apples coarsely. Take all the ingredients in the rondo and pull it until it becomes 3-4 rounds of puree.
  4. When the celery and apples are pureed, add 1/4 tea glass of olive oil, salt and spices to the rondo and grind together for 1-2 more turns.
  5. Take the celery and apple mixture you prepared on a serving plate and smooth it out. Put it in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 2-3 hours. Serve cold by garnishing with olive oil, walnut kernels and apple slices. Enjoy your meal!
  6. Note: If you are going to serve celery salad as an appetizer, you can fry 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes in 1 tablespoon of butter and drizzle over it.
