Baked Egg Bread

Classic egg bread is made by frying in plenty of oil. However, it is naturally high in fat and calories. This egg bread recipe, made in the oven with the same ingredients, is lighter, more practical and healthier. Enjoy your meal!

Stale Bread 12   Slice
Egg 3   Qty
Milk 1   Half Cup
Liquid Oil 1/2   Half Cup
Parsley (Finely Chopped) 1/4   Bunch
Salt 1   Half Tbsp
Black Pepper 1   Tsp
Thyme 1   Tsp
Chili Pepper 1   Tsp
Kashar (Cheddar) (Planed) 1   Cup

Steps:

  1. Slice your stale bread (it must have waited at least 1 day) into 1 cm thick slices.
  2. Break the eggs into a deep mixing bowl. Add milk, oil, salt and spices and mix well.
  3. Remove the parsley from its stems and wash them. Drain the water, chop it finely and add it to the mixture.
  4. Place a baking paper on the baking tray. Turn your oven on and set it to 200 degrees.
  5. Dip the bread slices in the mixture and place them on the tray.
  6. Place grated cheese on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 15-20 minutes and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
