The secret of this chicken with barbecue flavor is in its sauce. You can enjoy a picnic at home with chicken marinated in a special sauce and cooked correctly. Moreover, vegetables are cooked at the same time as chicken and add flavor to the taste of the recipe. Bon Appetit!
Chop the chicken into large chunks. Grate an onion for marination and extract its juice. Crush the garlic and add it. Add yogurt, olive oil and spices.
Take the chickens into the marination you have prepared, rub the sauce thoroughly, stretch it and put it in the refrigerator. Rest for at least 2 hours.
On the other hand, chop the cleaned and peeled vegetables coarsely and mix them with salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and two spoons of olive oil.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and cool the vegetables so that they do not overlap. Arrange the chickens and shallots you removed on the skewers, 2 cm apart.
Arrange chicken skewers on the oven wire, and place the vegetable tray on the shelf just below the wire shelf. Set the oven to the grill setting and set it to 200 degrees.
Turn the vegetables in the vegetable tray from time to time and bake them.
Season the chicken skewers and vegetables you have taken from the oven with salt, freshly ground black pepper, ground red pepper and thyme and serve hot. Enjoy your meal !
Note: You can serve your chicken skewers with plain rice pilaf, bulgur pilaf with vegetables, mashed potatoes or aubergines.
