Turkey meat stands out among white meats with its nutritional aspect, as it contains selenium, calcium, potassium, copper and its protein ratio is much higher than chicken meat. However, although it is very tasty, it is difficult and laborious to cook. Since it is a lean type of meat, if you want it to be soft and cook in a short time, you should marinate the turkey meat beforehand. Enjoy your meal!
Wash the thickly sliced turkey breast fillets and pat dry with paper towels.
Pass the onion on the fine side of the grater. Crush the garlic in a mortar. Take it in a deep bowl, add soda, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and spices and whisk well.
Transfer the turkey breasts to the marinade you prepared, rub the sauce well into the turkey fillets with your hands. Wrap it in the fridge and let it rest for 1 night. If you don't have much time, leave it in the sauce for at least 1, 1.5 hours.
Heat your cast iron skillet well, clean the grill by pressing a small piece of onion. Lubricate with oil and remove excess oil with a paper towel.
When the pan is hot, place the turkey fillets, do not move until they let go and cook both sides like this for 3-4 minutes. (adjust the degree of cooking according to your taste, do not over dry it as it is a lean meat)
Take the cooked turkey on a serving plate and serve it with the side dish or salad you want without waiting. Enjoy your meal!
