In a Nutshell:

Ingredients:

For: 4 People
Prep: 20 Min
Cook: 15 Min
Ingredients for Meatball:
Hamburger Bread (Small-sized) 4   Qty
Ground Beef (Brisket Medium Oiled) 300   Grams
Dry Onion (Medium size) 2   Qty
Crumbs Bread 1   Half Cup
Egg 1   Qty
Black Pepper (Freshly Ground) 1   Tsp
Ingredients for Sauce:
Tomato (Medium size) 4   Qty
Tomato Paste 1   Tbsp
Ketchup 1   Tbsp
Garlic (Finely Grated) 2   Clove
Olive Oil 3   Tbsp
Sugar Cubes 2   Qty
Apple Cider Vinegar 1   Tbsp

Steps:

  1. Grate the dry onions, squeeze out the juice, add to the minced meat. Add breadcrumbs or bread crumbs, eggs, black pepper, salt and cumin and mix. Let the meatballs rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the tomatoes in half and grate them. Heat the olive oil in a sauce pan. Saute the finely chopped garlic on a low flame until it gives off its aroma.
  3. Take the grated tomatoes in a sauce pan and fry them. Add tomato paste, ketchup, sugar and vinegar and fry for 2-3 minutes and add 1 glass of hot water.
  4. Cut the hamburger buns sideways and heat them in the oven at 150 degrees for 5 minutes. On the other hand, give your meatballs a thick round shape and cook them in a pre-heated cast iron pan by pressing them lightly. Shape the meatballs larger than the bread, as they will shrink when cooked.
  5. Dip the warmed breads in the sauce and put them in a glass baking dish lined with baking paper. Dip the meatballs in the same sauce and put them in the hamburger buns. Pour the remaining sauce over them.
  6. Cover the burgers with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes. This will allow the hamburgers to absorb the sauce and become soft. When you want to serve, you can flavor it with barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, etc.
  7. Serve the baked wet hamburgers hot with matchstick fries. Bon Appetit !
  8. Note: The original wet hamburger is only served with its own tomato sauce.

Furthermore, it contributes to cardiovascular health by helping regulate blood pressure and balance cholesterol levels. Widely used in traditional medicine, garlic is also known for its digestive support effects. An indispensable ingredient in meat dishes, vegetable sautés, and Mediterranean cuisine, it pairs wonderfully with herbs like rosemary and thyme.

It supports heart health by helping to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and raise good cholesterol (HDL). With its anti-inflammatory properties, it reduces inflammation in the body, prevents cell damage, and provides protection against chronic diseases. It supports the digestive system and contributes to skin health. An indispensable part of Mediterranean cuisine, it pairs wonderfully with salads, vegetable dishes, fish, legumes, and fresh bread.
  • Sugar Cubes: Cube sugar is the practical, pre-portioned form of crystallized sucrose, pressed into cubes. It offers quick and controlled sweetening.
