Meat Pea Meal

You can also enjoy the taste of peas, which is one of the most beautiful vegetables of the summer season, with frozen peas in autumn and winter. You can enrich your meal of peas, which is a very nutritious and delicious main course, by adding different vegetables to this dish. Bon Appetit!

Pea (Fresh) 1   Kilogram
Lamb Meat Cubes (Or Mince) 200   Grams
Dry Onion (Medium size) 1   Qty
Potatoes (Medium size) 1   Qty
Carrot (Medium size) 2   Qty
Tomato Paste 1   Tbsp
Hot Pepper Sauce 1   Tsp (large)
Garlic 1   Clove
Butter 1   Tbsp
Olive Oil (Or Oil) 1   Tbsp
Water (Hot) 2   Cup
Salt 1   Tsp

Steps:

  1. Sort the peas and rinse them with plenty of water. If you are using frozen or canned peas, rinse and drain.
  2. Clean the onion, carrot and potato and cut them into cubes.
  3. Take olive oil or oil in a deep pan and fry the onions, garlic, then the carrots and potatoes until they turn pink. Add the tomato paste and fry together for 2-3 minutes. Add the minced meat and mix. Continue frying until the meat changes color and absorbs its water.
  4. Add enough hot water to cover the material and cook for about 1/2 hour.
  5. When the meat is drained, add the peas to the mortar and turn it 1-2 turns. Add 2 glasses of hot water and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat in a controlled manner. Adjust salt and water and remove from heat.
  6. You can rest your cooked food for 10 minutes and serve it with rice pilaf and tzatziki. Bon appetit!
  7. Note: You can also make this dish with canned peas, keep the cooking time shorter so that the peas don't fall apart.
